Israelis storm schools in Hebron and clash with students in Bethlehem

Israeli security forces stormed two Palestinian schools in the blockaded West Bank city of Hebron on Sunday. They also clashed with Palestinian school students in Al-Khader neighbourhood in Bethlehem, Quds Press has reported. Tear gas was fired at the students who threw stones at the soldiers.

According to the Yatta coordinator of the national anti-Israeli separation wall movement, Ratib Al-Jabour, when the Israelis stormed Al-Majaz School they carried out a thorough inspection while the pupils were present. Not unnaturally, he said, this scared many of the children. He added said that the security forces handed a summons to Ibrahim Nusa, the school’s doorman, to attend office of the intelligence services.

The other school stormed by the Israelis was Al-Musafer Primary School, where classrooms were also searched. In Al-Tabban neighbourhood, the troops searched tents and confiscated construction equipment.
