A statement from the Turkish military reported that it destroyed a Daesh vehicle loaded with weaponry in northern Syria, on Wednesday.
The strike reportedly took place at 12:49 p.m. (local) in the Vukuf region. On 24 August, Turkey stepped up its engagement in the Syrian Civil war when it launched a direct military engagement under the title ‘Operation Euphrates Shield’.
