Daesh has made a deal with the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) to allow the terrorist group to leave Raqqa and move towards Palmyra without fighting, a senior Russian official has said.
Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said in a press conference that the Russian Defence Ministry has reliable information concerning the agreement between the two organisations.

“The Russian Ministry of Defence confirms this information and bases it on reliable data. Moreover, members of the Islamic State [Daesh] began to move from Raqqa to Palmyra and as you know, the Russian forces bombed their convoys,” he added.
On Wednesday, Russian naval forces shelled Daesh sites in Syria from a frigate and two submarines stationed in the eastern Mediterranean.
