A human rights lawyer and academic based at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, Munir Nuseibah is an Assistant Professor at Al-Quds University’s Faculty of Law; the director and co-founder of Al-Quds Human Rights Clinic, the first accredited clinical legal education programme in the Arab World; and the director of the Community Action Centre in Jerusalem.
Impact of the Occupation
Throughout its 70 year occupation of Jerusalem, Israel has adopted a series of policies and measures to change its religious and demographic character. The consequences have been described as a form of cultural genocide and ethnic cleansing.
