Palestinian Authority (PA), PLO and Fatah President Mahmoud Abbas said that Israel had agreed to sit with him to discuss the Paris Economic Protocol, Shehab News Agency reported yesterday.
During a visit to the office of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics in the occupied West Bank, Abbas said: “We say to the Israelis that there are agreements between us and you, starting from Oslo until today.”
He added: “If you wish, we will continue our relationship with you based on right and legal bases; otherwise, we will give up these agreements.”
Regarding the Paris Economic Protocol, he said: “Principally, Israel has accepted to sit with us to discuss the Paris Economic Protocol.”
