An Iraqi military base, which houses US forces, was targeted by rockets on Wednesday, Anadolu reports.
Al-Taji military airbase, located 85 kilometres (some 53 miles) north of capital Baghdad, was targeted by 10 Katyusha rockets, Iraq’s state-run Security Media Network said in a statement.
The airbase houses joint forces including Iraqi and American soldiers as well as other foreign forces from the US-led international coalition.
No casualties or damages have been reported yet.
