Queen Noor, wife of late Jordanian King Hussein, has accused authorities of carrying out a “disinformation” campaign aimed at defaming her son Prince Hamzah Bin Al-Hussein.
Commenting on a tweet about newly leaked recordings of her son, she said they were a “character assassination of an honorable and patriotic Hashimite Jordanian by a media disinformation campaign.”
Character assassination of an honorable and patriotic Hashimite Jordanian by a media disinformation campaign. A shameful face of our region’s politics but not of our people. https://t.co/mFbHLTDeMD

The queen described the campaign as “a shameful face of our region’s politics but not of our people.”
Her comment accompanied a tweet by Jordanian journalist Ali Younes, who wrote: “I listened to newly leaked recordings of prince Hamza and Bin Zeid today. Apparently leaked by #Jordan Mukhabarat.”
He added: “The recordings were chopped and stitched to show ‘conspiracy.’ I can’t see how two guys speaking in general terms and without an army can topple a strong regime.”
Previously, the Queen severely criticised the Jordanian authorities over the claims against her son who candidly criticised his half-brother King Abdullah II in April.
Praying that truth and justice will prevail for all the innocent victims of this wicked slander. God bless and keep them safe.
