Dr Omid Shokri

Omid Shokri is a Washington-based Senior Energy Diplomacy, Energy Security Analyst and analyst at Gulf State Analytics (GSA), currently serving as a Visiting Research Scholar in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. Omid holds a PhD in International Relations. His primary research interest lies in Energy diplomacy, US energy policy, geopolitics of energy, Iran-Turkey relations and Iran-Russia relations. He is the author of “US Energy Diplomacy in the Caspian Sea Basin: Changing Trends Since 2001.”
